And, the American public is on their side. As climate change becomes more apparent, the citizens will be in the streets screaming for cap and trade or whatever and you guys will be the ones seen as the crazy ones!! We need to work together to compete with China and India in the global marketplace. We need to kick start the clean energy economy and it will take HUGE actions and "grandiose laws" to get us moving. The only part of the economy destroyed is that of fossil fuel production. There need only be one lobby on earth that fears fossil fee and rebate/dividend/tax cut: the fossil fuel lobby.
